South Korea 20 April 2013: Here we come!

After a week of worrying about Kim Jong-un's nuclear threat, my sister and I finally decided to make the trip after all. Elsewhere in South Korea, everywhere was business as normal and its people remains undaunted.

Saw these at Changi Airport Terminal 3 and thought there was durian-flavoured M&M.

AREX station at Incheon Airport. Are they still in Christmas mood?

It took 30 minutes for the airport train from Incheon to Gimpo. At the train station, we bought T-Money at GS25. We stored our big luggage at the Baggage Storage shop at Gimpo Airport 1F. Then we walked over to Lotte Mart for Jajangmyun and Krispy Kreme.

1 hour flight from Gimpo to Jeju via Jeju Air.

First meal inJeju. Spicy grilled chicken @ restaurant near our guesthouse.

We stayed at Yeha Guesthouse Terminal in Jeju. Twin room with en-suite bathroom costed 60000 won per night. The guesthouse was clean and very near Jeju airport. However the bed was hard and I did not get a good sleep. We arrived over the weekend and most nearby restaurants were close early.
